Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SynapTruss platform and services operated by SynapTruss Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202616466G) (“SynapTruss”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

SynapTruss provides a business platform with the following products: CorpLink (corporate secretarial tools), DocuLink (AI document processing), TaxLink (tax computation preparation), LedgerLink (accounting workflow), and NoQ (queue management). Each product may have additional terms specific to its use.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload malicious software or content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Interfere with the operation of our platform.
• Use AI-generated outputs (tax computations, document extractions) without appropriate human review.

5. AI-Generated Outputs

Our platform uses artificial intelligence for document processing, expense classification, and tax computation preparation. AI-generated outputs are provided as tools to assist your decision-making and are not substitutes for professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for any purpose.

TaxLink prepares tax computations for your review. It does not file returns with IRAS or any other authority. Filing remains your responsibility or that of your appointed tax agent.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to or create within our platform. We do not claim ownership of your business data, documents, or records. We use your data only as described in our Privacy Policy and as necessary to provide our services.

7. Subscription and Payments

Access to our services requires a paid subscription. Billing is processed through Stripe. Subscription fees are charged in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are exclusive of GST where applicable. We will notify you in advance of any pricing changes.

8. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability of our platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynapTruss shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
